Good domain registrar - if you forget the prices!
I have used Dotster for a few years now, and have been reasonably happy with the service provided.
Buying new domain names is reasonably quick and easy, and you can always find a coupon on the usual websites.
Pricing wise, they are very expensive. Originally, domain names could be purchased for $30, but when Dotster came in and charged $15, customers flocked over. Unfortunately, they don't still have the discount domains business model. And when you buy, you need to put up with pages of upsales for their web hosting services, WhoIs privacy and more.
Support wise, they are lacking. Support can take a good few days to respond, and they don't give the impression they want to improve that.
Overall, I'd recommend Dotster if you're looking for a hassle free service. If you're a bulk buyer, contact them and they may give you a wee discount.
